So i was in Cracker Barrel the other day eating with some family. For those who don’t know, Cracker Barrel has that annoying little solitaire game where you try to jump golf tees, eliminating the ones you jump, and, hopefully, end with only one left. This is the holy grail, because for so many (myself included), it seems unattainable. Alas, i have discovered the secret. Below is the solution to the greatest secret in the universe. Amaze your friends. I know what you’re thinking...yes, i wrote it down. But only so i could share it with all of you. You were warned that this was a blog about nothing.

Get a picture in your mind of the pyramid game board. There are 15 holes. Number them starting at the top, then proceeding down and left to right. The first number is the pegs original place and the second is where it will be moved to. Oh, by the way, you need to begin with an empty spot in the 5th hole (right in the middle). Here goes...drumroll please.

1.	12-5
2.	10-8
3.	2-9
4.	3-10
5.	7-2
6.	1-4
7.	14-12
8.	15-6
9.	6-13
10.	12-14
11. 4-13
12. 14-12
13. 11-13

Ta-da!

OK, so i am a big fan of rugby, and what better time of year to be one? it’s the rugby world cup. For those that don’t know, New Zealand is a rugby nation, they play it from birth. Their team, the All Blacks, are pretty much the best in the world. And coming into this world cup, they were pretty much written in as the champs before the tourney began. But, as they say, that’s why they play the game.

So before every match they play, they do this Maori tribal warrior dance called the Haka. In fact, i’m kind of scared to call it a “dance” because i’m afraid some All Black might read this and come hurt me. It’s really cool and really intimidating. I know if i were lined up across from them, it’d make me cry.

So last night NZ plays France in a knock-out quarter final match. Again, NZ expected to walk all over them. Well, apparently no one told France, who proceeded to beat the All Blacks and knock them out of the tourney. [breathe]

OK, so now the reason for the post. Normally while the All Blacks do the Haka, the opposing team stands about 20-30 yards away and watches. But France were having none of that. They came all the way up and stood right in front of the All Blacks at the half-way line. It was awesome. Here’s the video. By the way, about 1 minute in, you can see a really big and hairy guy in the French red line. His name is Chabal (pictured at the top) and he’s referred to as “the caveman.” He’s a monster but, apparently, drives a Smart car!

The king of these is RyanAir. You basically get nothing...no seat assignment, no food or drink, and now you have to even pay to check-in at an airport desk! This is great...so Mandy and I are going to a conference in November in Austria. As you can see below, the price of our ticket was € .01! That’s right, 1 cent.

So i woke up this morning and thought to myself, “we haven’t had ‘motorcycle day’ yet this year.” Let me explain. Every year since we’ve been here (and i found out later that it has been going on for the last 8 years) there has been a day at the end of the summer when something in the neighborhood of 600 motorcyclists get together to travel across ireland. Of course, Galway is included as a travel stop, and it just so happens that the same hotel in which we have our worship services is one of the launching points for a large group of cyclists. So every year right about the time i’m reaching the climactic point of my sermon, 100 motorcycles crank up their engines and start honking...right outside the window of our meeting room!

Well, today was motorcycle day. Thankfully we were finished when they cranked up their engines. We got to watch them all leave. Pretty cool.
